goodness to the world

Jesus, when dealing with evil in people's lives would focus on calling them toward something rather than away from something. Instead of blatantly pointing out obvious errors (sins) he would rather show them how life could be. This was how he brought out the goodness in each person and in turn brought goodness to the world. That is another reason why so many people were initially attracted to him.

Good thoughts bro, I really like your exploration of Christ's 3rd way as of late...

That is so true and encouraging. It never ceases to amaze me how simple things are with Jesus, but how complicated we make it in the church. After we've complicated something, it never comes out looking anything like Jesus.

My heart grieves over that. God is good and we are His children of the light. We are His witnesses. I am so thankful for His mercy for how often we fail to reflect His simple, untainted goodness.

My heart beats with a strong "second" to this simple post :).

I agree that it's better not to point a person's mistakes but to make him think.
