I was reading Velvet Elvis and I ran across this very interesting tidbit about the Bible. The first time John uses the word love in his book about Jesus is in chapter 3 verse 16. For God so loved that he gave his one and only son... The first time the word love is used in the entire Bible is in Genesis chapter 22 when God tells Abraham to take "your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love." and offer him as a sacrifice
Isn't that another awesome connection that John was trying to make.
God has written the ultimate story.

crazy thing is, God is still in the midst of writing the ultimate story and we're invited to be part of it. wild.
That's good stuff.
I'm still hoping that I get to play the part of a ninja/super cop in the ultimate story. Or maybe in the made for TV edition.
